Arley Consulting are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant who has consultancy experience within the waste facility development and environmental permitting industry.
Working with an established team preparing regulatory applications to support the development of waste management facilities including treatment plants, and landfills. The work will include the preparation of Environmental Permits and planning applications. Depending on skills, experience and interests there will be opportunities to work on a wide range of related technical, scientific, and engineering subjects, including environmental risk assessments, technical design, site investigations and contaminated land assessment.
The work is multidisciplinary and candidates will be considered from a variety of technical backgrounds including; geo-environmental, chemistry, environmental science, hydrology, hydrogeology.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a relevant first degree and preferably a higher degree. Chartered status and/or membership of a relevant scientific or engineering professional institution would be an advantage. Previous consultancy experience is essential.
Skills
Excellent written and personal communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with clients and regulatory authorities.
Thorough and up to date understanding of the relevant regulatory regimes.
For the Consultant position, candidates should have at least 2 yrs experience.
For the Senior Consultant position, candidates should have at least 7 yrs experience.
